This data set represents data assessing the analgesic properties and side effect profile of a novel, peptide-derived, peripherally-restricted, orally-active, kappa opioid agonist (JT09) in a series of pain and behavioral assays. Raw data from a conditioned place preference procedure and self-administration procedure, as well as two-way analysis of variance and post-hoc analyses are included.
